I am Quandell Wright, founder, and designer of the William Palmer Homme brand; a clean, luxury yet versatile ready-to-wear brand. I’m also the Branding Director for The Detroit Fashion Community and the Branding Director for Premium Talent at Ethika records. 

I am from Detroit, MI, and I have roots deeply embedded in the sleek style and rich culture the city embodies. 

My passion for fashion started at a young age. Being raised in Detroit, a fashion-forward city that is known for trendsetting was no easy task for me as a child coming from an impoverished background. Because of my wardrobe, being bullied became a norm, and this help sparked a fire within, that inspired me to pursue fashion and not just any fashion. I desired to create quality. I was deprived of name-brand clothing coming up, therefore, when my mom was able to buy my brother and me matching Guess outfits, I nearly wore it every day and promised myself that I would someday make, create and sell a high-end yet versatile brand.

I began doing just that, I used my hurt to fuel my passion, drive, and ambition to create a platform, company, brand, a legacy tied to a story that will positively impact generations to come. I stitched my first piece of fabric to a pair of jeans when I was 13 and from that point on my love for the craft grew. I’d always been creative, now it was time to execute and manifest my vision.
